Rachel made a card for her Dad using the May 2014 My Paper Pumpkin Kit. She receives her own kit every month and has so much fun making cards. You know, you can’t start them too young! If you would like to more about the kits (surprise every month – what fun!), please click here
Today’s card is for David for Father’s Day. As some of you know, I recently bought a MacBook Pro and have been familiarizing myself with how it works. For several days I kept getting an error message when trying to download digital images from Stampin’ Up!. I finally decided to ask on SUDSOL to see if anyone could help me solve the problem. Sue Erickson replied with a solution and it worked! Thanks SUDSOl, you’ve come through time and time again. So I was able to complete David’s card in time for Father’s Day.
David’s passion is sailing (among other things) and I thought the Sail Away Stamp Brush Set would be perfect for his card.
The Sail Away Stamp Set is retired but the digital version is still available (whoohoo)!. I printed it out in Night of Navy using the My Digital Studio. The die cut (non-SU) is one I use for most of my masculine cards. The background is the new Maritime Designer Series Paper.
