The 4th of July means of lot of different things to me…

  • A time to be grateful to those who sacrificed their freedom so that I might have my freedom
  • A time to pay tribute to those who gave their lives as the ultimate price for freedom
  • A time to remember those have been maimed both physically and mentally while fight for that freedom

What does it mean to you?
I saw this card on pinterest and decided to case it for today’s card.  It says so much and is yet so simple.

The star template was made using the backing from our Designer Series Paper and the Star Framelits.  I sponged Crumb Cake Classic ink of the Very Vanilla Card stock.

I then stamped the soldier image with Night of Navy Classic Ink over the lightly sponged star.

The greeting was stamped with Night of Navy Classic Ink and the stars at the top were made using the Confetti Star Punch and then layered over the Night of Navy Card Stock.
